US Fed adds 5.25 bln usd in temporary reserves to money markets

The US Federal Reserve added 5.25 bln usd in temporary reserves to the money markets this morning with overnight repurchase agreements.

The New York Fed s open market operations desk accepted as collateral 4.681 bln usd of mortgage-backed securities, 0.369 bln usd of government agency securities and 0.200 bln usd of Treasuries.
