美國第二季實質國內生產總值(GDP)終值2.6%，預測2.9%，前值2.9%★

Final U.S. real gross domestic product for the second quarter of 2006 was revised downward to a gain of 2.6. compared to its preliminary estimate of a rise of 2.9% and final first-quarter GDP of +5.6%.

Economists had expected final Q2 GDP to come in around +2.9%, unchanged from the BEA’s preliminary estimate.

The BEA (Bureau of Economic Analysis) said the downward revision for Q2 "primarily reflected a downward revision to private inventory investment, an upward revision to imports of services and a downward revision to residential fixed investment that were partly offset by an upward revision to PCE for services."
