European Central Bank lifts base rate to 3.5% from 3.25%

欧洲央行将在北京时间今晚20:45公布利率决议，市场此前对此已经有太多的谈论，但

早些时候欧洲央行理事韦尔林克的言论，还是吸引了不少注意力。韦尔林克认为，当前

货币政策仍相对宽松，增加了市场对欧洲央行升息25点的预期，虽然这种预期早就计入

了汇价。交易员目前关注会后(北京时间今晚21:30)的新闻发布会，希望行长特里谢能

继续发表强硬言论。

  

分析师认为，如果欧元升值要延续到年末，则特里谢需重申他的“警惕”态度，任何对

2007＆08年欧元区物价压力减少的预期都将打击欧元。

  

交易员称，欧元/美元关键支持位在1.3250。尽管在利率决定前，1.3280支持位捍卫了

1.3275下方止损。更多止损在1.3250下方。而如果上扬突破1.3350，则市场注意力将转

向1.3400、1.3425＆1.3450的期权障碍。期权交易员还注意到，今晚在1.3500有大型期

权到期。

The European Central Bank on Thursday made its sixth interest-rate hike in a year, lifting its base rate by a quarter point as the European economy continues to accelerate and as the money supply accelerates more rapidly than it wants. The rate hike, to 3.5% from 3.25%, was widely expected by economists. Attention will turn to the post-decision press conference, due to start at 8:30 a.m. Eastern, for the ECB's views on 2007.
