DJ MARKET TALK: Comex Gold Bouncing On Short Covering

1557 GMT [Dow Jones] - Comex gold and silver have moved higher on short covering, a trader says. There was gold buying by a London bank earlier, says the trader. “I think everybody got caught short,” he says. “And with the base
metals rallying here and London wanting to go home, you’ve got a short-covering rally here.” June gold is up $7 to $682.10 an ounce, and July silver is up 14.5 cents to $13.48. (ALS)
