Even if debt ceiling issue is solved..........
US economy is so bad (high unemployment rate, not enough new job, low GDP), Gold will be seen as safe heaven.

Any talk about QE3, will make Gold rise even higher.

The past week, Gold had movment of around US$30.
Not very impressive.
But if formed a ground at 1,600.

I think, the market is not frying QE3 yet!

Yesterday rise was from poor GDP data...... seeked safe heaven.
Too bad data la........ 1.3%....... then 1 Quarter revised to 0.4%.......
Very very poor data!

After Obama made his speech at 10:20 p.m., then Gold started to drop, but it only touched 1,618 then rebounced and closed above 1,625.  Not bad at all.

Didn't expect it can break and stand firm on 1,630 the 1st time.
Probably need to try 2 or 3 times ..........

You mean:

1.  CNBC援引美联储发言人的话称美联储正为在8月底宣布第三轮定量宽松作准备.....that is QE3.

2.  You mean the Debt Ceiling Voting at Senate, 投票否決左...

At first I saw your comment....... sounding QE3 voting is rejected, therefore, I didn't understand!

I think, if Debt Ceiling is solved, Gold may fall a day or two, but QE3 is coming and market may fry this news!
