Continues to nudge higher in a challenge of $1.4000 barrier strike interest with one London based trader asserting "it s only a matter of time." Flows not especially heavy ahead of the long weekend in the UK and the US.

Pressing higher again in a surge to fresh highs for the day with pair on approach to $1.4020 now. Order books thin, little talk of supply until $1.4050 suggested barrier strike area.
