yes indeed. perhaps, the simplest method is to pin point the big direction and then ignore all the fluctuation inbetween. say, imagine in 2003, you viewed the big uptrend of gold for theing 10 to 15 years (in fact, people like jim rogers and 香港信報曹仁超 have written a lot of articles and even book about themodity trend years ago). you bought in gradually and stayed until today? the price most probably has risen from $3xx to $7xx. you should now already be a very rich man! perhaps rich enough to retire...
consolidation is normal because people / funds have to sell what they have bought for profits... perhaps wait for good buying points. |
